Founded in 2017, JWS Capital Management is a Florida domiciled investment advisory firm, serving individuals, accredited investors, charitable organizations, and institutions. Derived from a background anchored in public accounting that embraces fixed income, equity, and alternative investments, Joe Sullivan, founder and portfolio manager, has more than 25 years of investment experience, honed at leading hedge funds, asset management companies, mutual funds, and investment banking firms. Joe is dedicated to meeting your investment needs first and foremost, and if you have a question, concern, or need reassurance during roiling markets, you can count on him (rather than a chat bot) to respond.

Recognizing that there can be no substitute for conducting quality research, Joe began his career as a certified public accountant, and then moved to Standard & Poor’s, gaining analytical skills to delve deeply into company fundamentals. He then joined Merrill Lynch as an investment banker, followed by C-suite and portfolio management positions at Hyperion Capital Management, Dreman Value Management, Forstmann-Leff, DoubleLine Capital LP, Illumination Asset Management, LLC, and Piping Ridge Capital. 

Joe graduated with honors from State University of New York at Albany, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, with a minor in Psychology, and completed finance and real estate courses in Hofstra University’s Master of Business Administration program.
